He also represented how these factors function in the shape of a circle, which is named after him: the Sinner Circle. The factors are depicted in a circle to illustrate that one factor can be partly compensated by another. For example, it would be possible to reduce the amount of chemicals if the temperature were to be increased. This, of course, has its limits, as increasing the temperature too much may cause damage to the dishes.
